The Standard has announced it will be reopening at a new location at the top end of Liverpool Street, complete with rooftop bar.

Evolve Spirits Bar is hosting a Nikka Whisky Masterclass on the 13th of August. Whisky Expert and Nikka Ambassador, Kevin Griffin, will showcase his picks from Nikka’s award-winning whisky range including a signature cocktail on arrival, a flight of Nikka whiskies and matched nibbles. Greek cafe Filos has closed in the mall. It’s sister restaurant Filoxenia will continue to operate.

Irish Murphy’s in Salamanca is offering half a dozen oysters and a pint of Guinness on Sunday’s for $20.

Belles Burgers has reopened it’s South Hobart store as Belles Pizzeria serving up pizzas and sides Tuesday – Saturday from 5pm.

Bento Paradise has opened in Liverpool Street.

Chefs Oli Mellers, Terry Barrett, Craig Will and André Kropp are teaming up for Variety of Chefs hosted by Variety the Children’s Charity TAS. on the 14th of September. Tickets are $180 and include a four course degustation menu, premium Tasmanian wines, and live entertainment. Tickets are available here.

Royalty Sky Hotpot has opened downstairs in the Elizabeth Street Mall.
