Once again we returned to Marion Bay to see in the new year with thousands of our closest friends. Some new vendors were on site to feed these masses while previous favourites were sadly missing, including the very popular Munchies Street Food. Here’s some snapshots of what was sampled.

Bonus points for being cooked to order.Big Henry’s Hickory Smoked Brisket with Pickles, Cheese and a side of Fries $15. A great burger packed full of tender brisket in an excellent sauce. Easily the best chips on site as well, a real winner here.BaristaSista at night
Rude Boy / Press Deli Brisket, Caramelised Onion, Cheese $12. Fantastic flavours from the newcomers, especially the beef, but unfortunately let down from sitting in the bain marie for too long resulting in a dried out bun.Shred Burgers 24hr Shredded Beef Burger $13. Tasty but protein deficient and mostly salad, which was disappointing as their meat really is delicious. Well seasoned chips were enjoyed.

Good flavours especially the house made vegan sausage. One of my favourite dishes of the weekend.Jaffles by Diemen GrillChan Bao Fried Chicken Bao $8. Crispy, spicy, salty goodness. A bit of a wait while they were made but definitely worth it.Chan Bao Popcorn Chicken in Sweet and Sour Sauce. Nice chicken and pickles but the sauce was overly sweet for my liking.
