Tasmanian Tea Company are opening its new tea house and art gallery in Cygnet on the 28th of May.

The team from Tickled Rib are now operating The Moorings at Lady Franklin in the Huon Valley.

Old Wharf Restaurant opens on the 2nd of June as part of the exciting new MACq 01 Hotel.

The Whaler is celebrating World Cider Day on the 3rd of June with special offers and entertainment.

Soph Slice Gourmet Pizza has opened in Moonah.

Cool Wine are expanding into the space next door, replacing the pokies with delicious beverages.

Big Smoke BBQ Food Van is making a guest appearance at Coal Valley Cider on the 4th of June from 11am to 4pm.

One of Hobart’s longest operating restaurants, Vietnamese Kitchen, will close this Sunday. The space has been purchased by the Jubb family who own a number of bars in the precinct.

Stone and Barrow has opened in at the old Richmond Wine Centre serving breakfast and lunch Wednesday to Sunday as well as dinner on Fridays and Saturday evenings with a focus on produce from the region.

The Republic Bar has a new Head Chef and is planning extensions to the building.

Preachers is hosting another Dark-Garden Party on the 16th and 17th of June to coincide with Dark MOFO.

Etties are extending their hours during Dark MOFO with an extra dinner service on Sunday the 11th of June.

Restaurant Tasman is hosting a Bream Creek wine pairing dinner on the 26th of May.
