Devils Brewery have opened up their cellar door at the Margate Train after restoring one of the carriages back to its former glory. Official opening is 4th of November but open Wednesday – Sunday from 10am-5pm with an 8pm close on Fridays, serving their handcrafted beers and ciders in a fully licensed venue.
Amigos in North Hobart is celebrating Day of the Dead with a special menu, entertainment and festivities on the 28th and 29th of October.
The Greek community of Tasmania are hosting a taverna night at the Hellenic Hall on the 29th of October. Food will be served taverna style on platters offering the mouth watering flavours of Greece. Meze platter of favourites – dips and more, seafood and meat platters and of course dessert. Melbourne Greek band Monadiki Diaskedasi will be playing a variety of music styles to suit all ages and there will be dancing performances by the Hellenic Dancers. Full details on the event page.

Day of the Dead Festival is being held on the 29th of October at Searoad Shed in Macquarie Point. Food stalls including Cantina Latina and Frank, multiple bars and a huge range of entertainment for the whole family continuing well into the evening. Presale tickets can be found here.

Señor Frijoles have returned to Farmgate Market and will be appearing at Twilight Market monthly from the 11th of November with their South American street food. Featured are Empanadas, Lamb meatballs in Chipotle sauce and Chipotle black beans with warm zesty salsa.
