Devils Brewery have opened up their cellar door at the Margate Train after restoring one of the carriages back to its former glory. Official opening is 4th of November but open Wednesday – Sunday from 10am-5pm with an 8pm close on Fridays, serving their handcrafted beers and ciders in a fully licensed venue.

The Greek community of Tasmania are hosting a taverna night at the Hellenic Hall on the 29th of October. Food will be served taverna style on platters offering the mouth watering flavours of Greece. Meze platter of favourites – dips and more, seafood and meat platters and of course dessert.
